Most processed foods contain SUGAR in the name of High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS).
It’s FRUCTOSE.
A sugar that is highly addictive because it causes a release of dopamine; a feel good hormone that the body rewards you with after eating sugar. This is the mother to food addictions.
It is also very inflammatory to the gut and causes fat accumulation in the liver( Non alcoholic fatty liver disease). The mother to the metabolic syndrome. (Diabetes,obesity, high blood fats, hypertension,cancers,kidney failure, heart attack and strokes).
Fructose is also highly present in modern sugary fruits, honey and sugarcane.
