Glycocalyx
There’s a protective coating on the lining of the artery walls called Glycocalyx.
It is the component that protects the blood vessels against inflammation.
That coating is destroyed by;
- Smoking cigarettes
- Seed oils
- Processed and refined foods
- Sugar
- Refined grains and wheat
Avoid them.
Saturated fats and cholesterol promote the integrity of Glycocalyx. Eat foods rich in the two; eggs, fatty meats, animal fats, fish, chicken skin, butter and cheese.
