Influencers Are The New Billboards

In Kenya today, influencers are the new billboards.
The emotional masses are the target market.
They’re hired to push anything: foodstuffs, alcohol, betting apps, BBLs, cosmetic surgeries, weightloss injections, slimming teas and even lifestyle choices they don’t live by.
Companies understand one thing; if it’s marketed, you are the product.
We’ve watched influencers push vasectomies while they have full families.
Others preach “body positivity” while secretly booking liposuction and BBL appointments.
Others show off fake Forex money and rented cars to lure desperate youth into scams.
And when the lies collapse they return to the same cameras crying, asking for sympathy, demanding refunds, calling for companies to be shut down, yet they were paid to act out a script.
A script written to manipulate you, the emotional, trusting follower.
Truth is, you can “shade” a pot belly overnight, but if your relationship with food is still broken, the fat will return.
You can drink all the slimming teas and magic pills but they won’t burn a single gram of fat.
Fat is not a curse. It’s a consequence of habits, mindset, and a lifestyle that needs recalibration.
Before you get sold another shortcut, remember this:
Nothing from the outside can fill the emptiness inside.
- No surgery.
- No product.
- No influencer.
- No trend.
Fix internally what is driving your patterns. Stress, habits, your relationship with food, your lack of discipline, your emotional eating, victimhood and the external will naturally follow.
Be willing to put in the work. Build the discipline because we all want to indulge in unhealthy lifestyles but we know the difference is in CPD( consistency, patience and discipline).
